Haaay, 2020!

Feeling hopeless 02

Hope is not all lost, Breaker.

“Your brain might tell you that things are awful, horrible, and dreadful,” explanation ni Amy Morin, LCSW in her article 9 Things to Do If You Feel Hopeless in Verywell Mind.

‘Di ba?

Pero sabi rin ni Amy na “just because you think it, doesn’t mean it’s true. Your thoughts may be distorted, inaccurate, or downright wrong. Hopeless feelings fuel hopeless thoughts. And it’s easy to get caught up in a negative cycle that makes it hard to see that things can get better.”

So, ano ang dapat gawin?

Scroll down to see 3 BreakThrough ways you can do if you feel hopeless sa situation mo.

Feeling hopeless 03

BreakThrough way #1: Gumawa ng mental health checklist.

Meganun?

Na-try mo na bang makipag-chikahan to someone?

Nakapag-lakad lakad ka man lang ba or stretching?

Kung izza “no” ang answer mo, try mo munang gawin ‘yan then let us know how you feel after.

Kasi alam mo, Breaker…

Feeling hopeless 04

‘Yung hopelessness na nararamdaman mo are not actually a sign na your situation will never improve, or your problems are unsolvable.

Signal talaga ‘yun from your brain na napapabayaan mo na ang self-care mo. It means time na para mag-reach out or connect to someone, shinare ‘yan ni Kate Allan in an article A Real Dose of Hope When You’re Feeling Hopeless by Margarita Tartakovsky, M.S. of PsychCentral.

“Use your feelings of hopelessness to check in with yourself. What do I need? Am I meeting those needs? What am I telling myself?” sabi nga ni Margarita.

One more thing, Breaker!

Since usapang mental health na rin tayo, important na malaman mo that hopelessness could be also sign of depression.

“So, if your feelings of hopelessness last more than two weeks or you’re concerned about your mental health, talk to someone,” Amy said.

Reach out to us anytime. Text mo kami sa 0999-227-1927 or call 0931-805-0802.

BreakThrough way #2: Adjust mo ‘yung goal mo.

Magandang pagmuni-munihan ‘tong sinabi ni Ryan Howes, Ph.D in the same article in PsychCentral.

“If the situation is truly unchangeable, is there a way to change the goal?”

Parang ganito…

If hindi talaga possible na umalis sa job mo, change your goal by making it enjoyable and meaningful.

Feeling hopeless 05

“If you can’t change a life-altering diagnosis, your goal becomes to face it with dignity, self-compassion and strength,” sabi niya.

And to face it with prayer. Ilaban natin ang mga ‘to with prayer, Breaker.

Again, puwede mo kami i-text anytime sa 0999-227-1927 or call 0931-805-0802. Ipagpe-pray ka namin. You can BreakThrough!

Speaking of prayer, here’s…

BreakThrough way #3: Hope in Jesus.

Eto na talaga ang question of the day, kanino ka ba umaasa?

Try mo this time umasa at magtiwala kay Jesus. Anchor your hope on Him.

Feeling hopeless 06

Gawin mong 1st resort si Jesus, not your last.

Because, believe it or not, gusto Niyang maging involved sa mga happenings mo sa buhay. That will only be possible if you will let Him.

Hindi pa huli ang lahat, Breaker.

Jesus Christ is the hope that you are looking for.

Sabi nga Niya sa Matthew 6:33 ESV, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

Gusto mo pa bang mas maintindihan ang sinabi ni Jesus dito?

Ie-explain pa namin sa ‘yo.
