Well, well, well! Dahil mahal ka namin, your wish is our command.
Here are five easy and tipid tips for glowing skin, and how to get it done at home.
Tips for glowing skin #1: Know your skin type.
Before ka mamili ng skin care products, you first need to know your skin type. There are products that will work on others, but won’t work on you because people have different skin types.
If you have an oily skin, minimize using face oils.
If you have dry skin, use moisturizer consistently.
And if you have a combination type of skin, dry and oily, buy products that are specifically made for your skin type.
‘Wag mo hayaang masayang ang na-invest mo, Breaker. Either sa skin care products ‘yan, or sa tao. Chour!
Tips for glowing skin #2: Hydrate from the inside out.
Sabi pa sa Pureluxemedical.com, “Certain kinds of toxins will clog your small pores on your epidermis and can cause issues like acne and pimples. By drinking more water, you ensure that you won’t suffer from severe pimples and acne. The more hydrated your skin, the less your pores will clog.”
Dagdag pa nila, “Water keeps your body hydrated and refreshed and helps maintain your skin’s elasticity. People who drink large amounts of water are less likely to suffer from scars, wrinkles, and soft lines and they won’t show as many signs of aging as those who drink little amounts of water.”
Tubig is life talaga, Breaker. Libreng skin care for a glowing skin na!
So, every time na-te-tempt kang lumaklak ng juice, soft drinks, and extra cup of coffee, isipin mo ang matagal mo nang minimithi na glowing skin, and say ‘no’ to the temptations!
Experts recommend drinking 8-10 glasses of water, or not below 2 liters a day.
Tips for glowing skin #3: Eat to nourish your skin.
Like how alcoholic drinks and cigarettes can damage your liver and lungs, what you eat has a significant effect on your skin– the largest organ in the human body.
Kumain ka ng prutas at gulay, Breaker. Lessen the junk food, processed food, and fast food. You can eat fast food once a week, or come up with a recipe na kasing-sarap ng burger sa Burger King, pero healthy.
Puwede kang maghanap ng healthy alternatives, Breaker.
According to the Mayo Clinic, “Eating a diet that’s rich in fruits and vegetables will boost the vitamins and antioxidants in your body. Eating healthy fats, like fish oils, and staying away from processed foods with lots of preservatives may have a direct connection to healthier looking skin.”
So, kaya mo ba i-let go ang Chicken Joy for a glowing skin? Haha!
Tips for glowing skin #4: Get beauty sleep.
K-drama. Netflix. Wattpad. ML. Mga oppa. Pag-stalk kay crush, kay ex. At iba pa.
Kahit ‘di na para sa glowing skin na hinahangad mo, but for the sake of your physical and mental health na lang.
Dahil ayon sa Healthline.com, “Sleep is the time when your body repairs itself. This is true for your epidermis as much as it is for your brain or your muscles. During sleep, your skin’s blood flow increases, and the organ rebuilds its collagen and repairs damage from UV exposure, reducing wrinkles and age spots.”
Ayon sa Medicalnewstoday.com, walang ideal time for sleep because it varies from person to person. But the goal is to sleep before the day begins. So aim to sleep before 12am, Breaker.
Dagdag pa nila, “General guidelines indicate that the average adult needs about 7–9 hours of sleep each night. Going to sleep and waking up at the same time every day can help support a healthy sleep pattern.”
Tips for glowing skin #5: Glory from within.
What we mean by “Glory from within” is, that kind of glow that radiates from the inside.
Like your physical body, your soul needs to be nourished, too.
Alam mo ba na some of the major factors why people have dry skin or unhealthy skin are directly related to stress, worry, and anxiety?
Yes po, and maybe you’re experiencing these things, too. Tama ba?
Bakit ka nag-i-stress eating halos every day? To relieve the stress.
Bakit ka naglalaro buong gabi? To take your mind off things that worry you.
Bakit ka nanonood ng K-drama, whole day at whole night? To cover up the anxiousness you’re feeling.
‘Di namin sinasabi na bawal lahat gawin ‘yan, ah. It’s okay to do these things basta in moderation lang.
But the point is, these are actually indications that your soul needs to be taken care of. Dahil stressed siya, nag-wo-worry siya, at anxious siya.
And the best way to take care of it? By soaking in the presence of the LORD and His Word. When your soul is nourished, you can glow from the inside out. And the good news is, you can get that nourishment from the Living Water Himself, Jesus.
Ibabad mo ang mind and heart mo sa affirmations and promises na makikita mo sa Word Niya. Ask the LORD to give you self-discipline to live a healthier and more fruitful life. A life full of His peace and assurance, a life full of hope and excitement, and a life full of His love and grace.
Gusto ka naming i-encourage through this verse:
“Let your true beauty come from your inner personality, not a focus on the external. For lasting beauty comes from a gentle and peaceful spirit, which is precious in God’s sight and is much more important than the outward adornment of elaborate hair, jewelry, and fine clothes.” 1 Peter 3:3-4 (TPT)
