BreakThrough Stress Management Tip #1: Slow down and rest.  

Kapag nagwo-workout ka nga there are times when you need to slow down, catch your breath, drink water to refuel, kapag sa laban ng life, bawal? 

It is essential to take a rest, too.  

Napapagod ka? 

Slow down. 

Nalulungkot ka? 

Slow down.  

Whenever you find yourself na parang nagmamadali, magulo ang isipan, at hindi mapakali, pause for a while.  

“Process your emotions. Know where the sadness or stress is coming from,” sabi ni Kuya Carl. 

BreakThrough Stress Management Tip #2: Exercise and stay healthy.  

Kumusta ang “healthy living” goals mo this year? 

It’s not too late to start, Breaker.  

Puwede kang mag-umpisa sa simple stretching tuwing umaga or by replacing your go-to milk tea to DIY fruit shake.

BreakThrough Stress Management Tip #3: Talk about your problems. 

“Ayoko nga maging burden sa iba!” 

Ganiyan ba ang iniisip mo? 

Marami na ang nabiktima ng idea na ‘to na kailangan “okay ka” before you share your life to someone. But Breaker, hear us out… 

You are not meant to do life alone. 

Okay lang mag-share ng struggles and pains to someone you trust hindi dahil weak ka pero tao ka, dumadaan sa pagsubok tulad ng iba. 

When you connect, mapapansin mo na ang problema ay mas magaan at mas kayang resolbahan.  

BreakThrough Stress Management Tip #4: Let go of the need to always control. 

Lagi mo ba ‘to sinasabi sa sarili mo… 

“Kasalanan mo ‘to kaya lumaki ang problema.” 

Or  

“Dapat may plan A to plan Z ka, ayan tuloy pumalpak ka.” 

Quit blaming yourself, Breaker. The hard truth is, hindi mo kayang kontrolin ang lahat ng bagay.

Life is full of unexpected twists and turns tulad ng nangyayari ngayon, we are facing a global pandemic.  

Sabi nga ni Kuya Carl, “Hindi natin kailangang isisi palagi sa ating sarili ang mga hindi magagandang nangyayari.”  

But the good news is? 

You can rely on Someone who is always in control, Someone who is always in charge – the LORD. He knows the beginning and ending of your story, pero kailangan mong magtiwala sa Kaniya at hindi sa sarili mong galing.  

BreakThrough Stress Management Tip #5: Put your faith in the LORD. 

“Do not base your joy, confidence, and trust on people or things that are subject to change,” Kuya Carl shared. 

Instead, trust the LORD who never changes.   

Trust na gumagawa Siya ng paraan on your behalf. Hindi ka Niya pinabayaan. Hindi ka Niya kinalimutan. Hindi ka Niya iniwan. 

Sabi nga sa Psalm 94:19 NKJV, “In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.” 

You need to constantly remind yourself na kasama mo si LORD. Totoo that your problems are big, but He is bigger, mightier, and stronger.
