“LORD, when kaya?”
“When kaya ako makaka-breakthrough?”
Well, well, well! This article might be exactly what you need right now.
Here, may practical tips na ibinahagi sina Jamey Santiago-Manual and Neo Rivera of CBN Asia’s online show, Whatcha Say, Thursday!.
This will help you cling on to your faith… kahit ang sakit sakit na. Chour! Pero seryoso, this will help you and me to strengthen our faith despite any failures and setbacks.
But first, let’s define what faith is.
Hebrews 11:1 (NIV) says, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
In the NLT version, it says, “Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.”
But sometimes, because of failures and setbacks, nawawalan tayo ng gana to move forward and to believe in the LORD’s goodness.
Nakakawala ng hope and assurance. Nakakababa ng self-esteem at confidence, nakakapanghina ng loob. Unti-unting nawawala ang faith natin kay LORD. That is why ang unang tip namin ay…
BreakThrough Tip #1: Focus on God.
We’re not saying that you should deny your problems, Breaker. We want to encourage you to focus on how big God is, and what He can do in your situation.
That is what having faith in God means.
It is not about thinking na if may faith ka kay LORD, mawawala na immediately ang mga problema mo (though nangyayari rin ito). It is about believing that God is greater and He is able. Okay?
BreakThrough Tip #2: Invite God into your situation.
Huhu.” Are you familiar with these words?
I did my best, but I guess my best wasn’t good enough… Tara, ikanta na lang natin ‘yan.
Breaker, there are battles that are too big for us to handle. That’s why we’re here to remind you to place your trust in God rather than yourself.
Sabi pa nga sa YouVersion Bible plan titled Divine Time Management, “When people in the Bible trusted God, they experienced His best. When they trusted in anything other than God, they didn’t.”
Minsan, kailangan din natin tanungin ang sarili natin, “Is this God’s best for me? Or am I just settling for something comfortable or convenient?” The answer to this question matters. Whatever your answer is, invite God into your situation and ask Him for wisdom and guidance.

Before tayo mag-proceed sa last tip, we also want to share this verse to you na puwede mong i-claim. Proverbs 16:3 (CEV), “Share your plans with the LORD, and you will succeed.”
BreakThrough Tip #3: Understand the season of pruning.
Sorry to break it to you, Breaker, but God never promised that life would be pain-free.
Mababasa natin sa John 15:2 na in order for us to be more fruitful, kailangan tayong i-prune ni LORD. And this is a painful process. John 15:2 (NIV) says, “He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.”
Sabi ni Jamey, “You cut off unnecessary leaves sa halaman to stimulate more growth.
Same thing sa buhay natin, may mga bagay na kina-cut si LORD for us to prosper and grow even more. ‘Wag ganorn! It’s actually the opposite, Breaker. He is pruning you because He loves you and wants you to grow.
So, every time you go through the pruning season, understand that it’s not because you’re a failure. It’s not because God doesn’t love you anymore. And it’s definitely not because nakalimutan ka na Niya.
It’s because He wants you to prosper and live an abundant life.
Gustomoyown?
Faith on! Because this, too, shall pass. The promise is worth it, and the promise Giver is with you always.
