Lahat tayo gustong sumaya. Natural sa atin ang humanap at gumawa ng mga bagay na nagbibigay kasiyahan sa ating puso, isinasantabi ang mga nagbibigay ng kalungkutan.
Kaya nga ayaw mo sa taong hindi ka gusto, ‘di ba? Kasi malulungkot ka lang. Awit sa ‘yo, bes!
Madalas, akala ng nakararami ay magiging masaya lang sila kung matutupad ang kanilang mga pangarap o magkakaroon ng kasagutan ang matagal na nilang hinihingi.
Sariling bahay. Magarang kotse. Taong hinahangad. Mag-travel sa iba’t ibang bansa. Magkaroon ng maraming pera.
Hindi naman masamang maghangad ng malalaking bagay, pero ang kasiyahan ay maaring manggaling din sa mga maliliit.
Mga maliliit na bagay na madalas natin i-take for granted.

1. Kumain ng masasarap na pagkain
Kaya mo nang i-satisfy ang food cravings mo ngayon, compared dati na pinapagalitan ka pa ng nanay mo dahil turo ka nang turo! Pero ang sarap pala sa pakiramdam na afford mo na ngayon ang isang milk tea at isang box ng pizza.
At least, ‘di ba?
2. Kape for the right seasons
Masarap talaga ang kape sa umaga, lalo na kung umuulan. Feeling mo tuloy required mag-emote at mag-reflect. Haha!
3. Clean and quiet place
Kung magulo ang isip mo, the last you’d want is a magulo na space, too!
Conyo yarn?
Pero iba ang ginhawang hatid ng malinis na lugar at tahimik na paligid. Nakakapag-me time ka habang inaalala mo ang mga utang mo at nagkautang sa ‘yo…
LOL.
4. Newly washed clothes and bed sheets
At syempre, dapat malinis at bagong laba rin ang damit at beddings! ‘Yung amoy Downy pa.

6. Eating alone
Aba, syempre masaya talaga ‘to! Wala nang mas sasaya pa sa panahon na wala kang kaagaw sa pagkain. 😂
7. Strolling and being mindful of your surroundings
‘Yung nag-o-observe ka lang sa paligid at ninanamnam ang simoy ng hangin, habang naglalakad nang mabagal… Parang nasa music video lang ang peg nito. Pero seryosong usapan; okay lang daw i-romanticize mo ang buhay mo, because you are the main character in your life. So, go ahead and live like a real protagonist! 😉
8. Reading a book that touches your heart
‘Yung tipong napapatulala at napapatitig ka sa pader after each line or paragraph? Kasi ramdam mo, eh. Tagos sa puso’t kaluluwa mo ‘yung sinasabi ng author. It feels like the book was written just for you and it feels so satisfying.
9. Watching your favorite shows on Netflix
Minsan pa nga repeat 10x, eh. To the point na memorized mo na ang mga linyahan nila. Haha!
10. Watching anime
Ang iba naman, hindi mahilig sa K-drama or Hollywood shows. Mas gusto nila ang anime dahil sa animations and story nito.
Kaway-kaway sa fans ng One Piece dyan! Tumatanda na tayo kasama ng anime na ‘to.
11. Mag-cross out sa to-do list
Sometimes, nothing is more satisfying than knowing you’ve accomplished something.
12. Matulog nang mahimbing
Sarap gumising nang kahit anong oras mo lang gusto, at hindi dahil sa ingay ng alarm clock, or minsan sa ingay ng kapitbahay niyo.
13. Playing mobile games
Playing games keeps your brain stimulated. It also awakens different emotions, too. Like excitement, amusement, surprise… and anger! 😂
14. Writing your heart out
Journaling is one way of understanding yourself. Your heart and thoughts need to be heard, too.
15. Doing one of your hobbies
Mahilig ka ba sa makeup? Or mag-drawing? How about magluto? Remembering your hobbies and taking your time to enjoy them will surely make you happy!
16. Being close to nature
Exposure to nature always makes you feel better. The sea breeze, the sound of the waves, and the shades of the trees. Ma-re-realize mo na lang talaga na sobrang galing ng Creator.
17. Talking and laughing endlessly with friends
Sabi nga nila, the best kind of pain is when your stomach hurts because of laughing too much!
18. Road trips
Pwedeng maging remedy ang road trips sa bigat ng nararamdaman mo. You don’t have to go to a specific location, because the trip itself is the destination. ‘Yun bang ini-enjoy mo lang ang journey. This also allows you to see other perspectives in life and in different people.
19. Makapag-drama kay LORD
Haaay, ang sarap talaga mabuhay lalo na kung alam mo na may Jesus kang kasama na nakikinig, nag-aalala, at nagmamahal sa ‘yo. Ultimately, Siya talaga ang tunay na source of joy, eh. We hope you also enjoy your time with Him.
And there you have it, Breaker! Those are 19 simple pleasures in life na pwede mong i-enjoy araw-araw. Hindi naman kailangan ng something grand para sumaya. You just have to look around you and be more mindful of the things that are available and free(!) for you to enjoy!
