“Year 2023.”
May mga naghanda ng New Year’s resolution, and some have many plans on how to be a better version of themselves next year.
Apostle Paul said in Romans 12:2 (NIV), “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
One way we can change ourselves and be transformed, is to renew our minds with the Word of the LORD.
Hindi lang contracts and subscriptions ang kailangan natin i-renew, Breaker, but also our minds and mindset.
Pero paano nga ba ito gawin?
At ano ang ibig sabihin ng mindset?
According sa isang article ng VeryWell Mind na isinulat ni Kendra Cherry, “Mindset is a set of beliefs that shape how you make sense of the world and yourself. It influences how you think, feel, and behave in any given situation.”
Now that we know the meaning of “mindset,” puwede na nating alamin kung ano ang mindsets na kailangan nating i-develop for next year.
BreakThrough Mindset #1: The LORD is the One who directs your steps.
For sure narinig mo na ‘yan, and sorry to break it to you, Breaker, but that is not biblical.
Jeremiah 17:9 (NIV) says, “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?”
Kaya nga sabi sa Proverbs 4:23 (NIV), “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
So, instead of following your heart, guard it.
Instead, allow God’s Word to direct your steps dahil hindi ka Niya bibiguin.
Ito ang verses na puwede mong panghawakan.
Psalm 37:23 (NIV), “The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him;”
Psalm 16:11 (NIV), “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”
BreakThrough Mindset #2: The LORD doesn’t waste any season in your life.
May mga panahon siguro na feeling mo you’re not growing.
You feel stuck.
You feel drained.
You feel like you’ve reached your limit.
Whether you feel it or not, whether you see it or not, the LORD is doing something in your life.
Sabi sa Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NIV), “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
Trust the LORD and the process, Breaker.
Psalm 71:20 (NIV), “Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up.”
Philippians 1:6 (NIV), “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
BreakThrough Mindset #3: The LORD sees your efforts.
Naku, Breaker, maybe you are looking in the wrong direction.
He sees you, and He is celebrating with you every time may breakthrough ka.
The LORD will reward you for doing these things, Breaker, kaya ipagpatuloy mo lang ‘yan.
Ito ang mga verse na puwede mong i-claim every time you feel like no one appreciates what you’re doing.
Hebrews 6:10 (NIV), “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”
Colossians 3:24 (NIV), “Since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
This coming 2022, may you develop these mindsets, Breaker, and bring these wherever you go.
The LORD directs your steps.
The LORD doesn’t waste any season in your life.
The LORD sees your efforts.
